5. Data Retention

- Pet Health Records: Your pet’s health records, activity logs, and medical data are retained for the lifetime of your account to maintain a complete health history.
- Booking & Transaction Data: Records of bookings and transactions are retained for up to 5 years after the transaction date for accounting, legal, and dispute resolution purposes.
- Derivative Data: Server logs and access data are retained for up to 90 days for security monitoring and are then automatically deleted.
- After Account Deletion: When you request account deletion, all your personal data, pet records, and associated information are permanently deleted from our databases within 30 days of processing your request, except where retention is required by applicable law.
6. Data Deletion
You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data and all associated pet records at any time. To request data deletion, you may use any of the following methods:

- Email: Send a deletion request to help@thetailtribe.com with the subject line “Account Deletion Request” and include your registered name and email address.
Upon receiving your request, our team will verify your identity and process the deletion within 7 business days. You will receive a confirmation email once your data has been permanently removed. Please note that once deleted, your data cannot be recovered. This includes your account information, pet profiles, health records, activity logs, booking history, and any other associated data.
